SEAN PRICE-Mic Tyson Anyone that is into hip hop knows what’s up with Sean Price. Dude has been murking the mic for years and years. His new album “Mic Tyson” is dropping October 30th and we can’t wait! The track list and production credits look dope and I’ll be adding this to my collection the day it drops. SEAN P!!!!! APOLLO BROWN & GUILTY SIMPSON-Dice Game Ever since I first heard Apollo Brown’s production I was hooked. His sampling and drums are uncanny and I simply love every beat the guy pumps out. All of his previous projects are instant favorites in my book and I am looking forward this album dropping on November 13th.

BLU & EXILE-Give Me Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them Another great release from the duo Blu & Exile. I found it to be just as good as their 1st classic they put out called Below The Heavens. Exile has a distinct style of production that goes well with Blu’s delivery and style. LA COKA NOSTRA-Masters Of The Dark Arts This release is fucking great! I have always been a big fan of Slaine and Ill Bill. This album comes out aggressive and the production is great. With C-Lance, Lethal, Sicknature, Ill Bill, Premier, etc behind the beats, I knew it would be flawless when I saw it being advertised. Still am playing it constantly and I am very happy with it. PURPOSE & CONFIDENCE-The Purpose Of Confidence Ever since I grabbed the Rashad and Confidence release, I knew that Confidence would be making serious moves in the hip hop circuit. His style of beats are very appealing to me and I havent heard a tune that he’s made that I dislike. Purpose of Tragic Allies is a great MC with a nice flow and serious wordplay. Together, fused into a sick album, this project needs to be in your hands or Ipod right away. Epic shit right here.

CHINO XL-Ricanstruction What can we say about this album…After a long wait, Chino delivers one of my favorite albums of all time. 35 tracks of pure madness and lyrical assaults that murder pretty much any rapper out there. The 2nd song on the album is a heartfelt depiction of Chino’s struggle with his young daughters cancer diagnosis. This track will bring tears to your eyes and is nothing short of amazing. With features from Tech N9ne, B-Real, Immortal Technique and other great artists, beats from Stu Bangas, Apollo Brown, Exile, Oh No and other greats. This album is a must cop!! Go get it right away. IDE ALUCARD-Uncovered Remains To be straight up I was unfamiliar with this artist/artists until I saw this on UGHH.com. Peeped it and It’s really dope. Been in the car cd player in heavy rotation. SKYZOO-A Dream Deferred Anyone that knows good hip hop knows the Syzoo has mad skill. This new album is also a banger from start to finish and I really enjoyed it. If you see it on the shelf or online, grab a copy!

October 23rd Vinnie Paz is releasing his second solo project entitled’ “God Of The Serengeti.” His last solo effort was really good in my opinion. I have found it to be one of the few cds I can listen to all the way through without skipping any tracks. Looking forward to this new release. Keep your eyes peeled for it.

You can never go wrong with an album by REKS. His style is quick, creative, and on point. Was cool to see this come out so quickly after his last album and not seem “Rushed.” sometimes you can tell when a project was made quickly but this cd is solid. Big Shug from the legendary Gangstarr Foundation comes out with guns blazing on this new project, “I’m 4 Eva.” With production by Dj Premier, and features by Slaine and other dope mc’s, this is another one you wanna scoop up.
